APEA et PAPEHUE : Christmas Rally
BIG HIT FOR THE CHRISTMAS RALLY OF APEA AND PAPEHUE SCHOOLS!
On Tuesday 13th December 2011, a “Christmas Rally” was organized by the teachers of 4th and 5th grades of Apea School and the School Group of Papehue.
This rally consisted in favoring genuine communication throughout five workshops:
The Hangman Game & The Guessing Game
The Memory Game & The Survey via Internet
The Christmas tree decoration
The Christmas Song: “We wish you a Merry Christmas”
The Happy Families
From 8 to 11, different groups such as The Reindeers, The Stars, The Gifts, The Christmas Trees and The Santas evolved from one workshop to another. Each group had to follow a specific plan to accomplish their tasks. Therefore, pupils could reinvest English vocabulary and syntactic structures they learnt so far.
It was also the opportunity to communicate with pupils from another school by the means of internet. For this workshop, Caroline MAUZE (EATICE) was a valuable help.
At the end of the rally, pupils, parents and teachers gathered in the covered playground to sing a Christmas song and to reward each pupil with a Christmas diploma.
This project was led by the Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) of the educational area 7, Namoiata TOKORAGI and the educational staff of Apea and Papehue.
The enthusiasm of Melba CHAUDRON-PRAILLET, Nati PITA, Elsie TAPEA, English-speaking parents Mr. & Mrs. HAMILL allowed pupils to practice English and communicate in a joyful atmosphere.

Franc succès et très belle réussite du "Christmas rally" à Papehue et à Ape'a.
C'est dans une ambiance de fête de Noël, que s'est déroulé le mardi 13 décembre 2011, le "Christmas rally" entre tous les élèves de CM1 et CM2 du groupe scolaire de Papehue.
Cette action pédagogique sur la thématique de Noël avait pour objectifs le réinvestissement du vocabulaire acquis et l'expression en anglais grâce aux situations de communication. Elle a été le fruit d'un travail mené par, NamoiataTOKORAGI (EALVE anglais), avec les équipes pédagogiques du Groupe scolaire de Papehue de Pa'ea et l'école Ape'a de Papara.
Les élèves répartis en 5 groupes devaient avec leur feuille de route, tourner toutes les 30 minutes dans 5
ateliers :

La participation active, le réinvestissement du vocabulaire, les discussions par skype...et le chant final interprété par l'ensemble des élèves ont démontré que les objectifs fixés ont largement été atteints.
Notons aussi la participation de parents anglophones, madame et monsieur HAMILL, madame Elsie TAPEA (conseillère pédagogique), mademoiselle Caroline MAUZE (EATICE), de monsieur Nati PITA (directeur du Groupe Scolaire de Papehue) et de madame Melba CHAUDRON-PRAILLET (directrice de Apea).
